Good Morning all, well I have been away for a few months and it shows. I have gained 7 lbs. What a roller coster ride. But today is a new day and I am going to get back on track. I just found out my daughter is scheduled to have surgery on July 8th. I am so happy for her.

HI MRS GLORIA....

I AM GOING TO HAVE A BABY IN JUST 6 DAYS AND PLAN ON DOING THE SAME THING...LET ME KNOW HOW IT GOES FOR YOU...ARE YOU GOING TO BREAST FEED? I HAVE GAINED ABOUT 17 LBS WITH MY PREGNANCY... ( AND I ATE ! !)
PROBLEM WITH ME IS I DID NOT FINISH LOOSING MY WEIGHT WHEN I GOT PREGNANT...SOOO I AM GOING TO HAVE TO START OVER...I TOOK IN LOTS OF CARBS DURING THE PREGNANCY ... ( MORE THAN IF I WERE NOT...BUT U KNOW WHAT I AM GETTING AT)
ANYWAY...I WISH YOU LUCK....LET ME KNOW HOW YOU DO...

Good work, Gloria!

I've wanted to try the 5 day test too, after having lost 115 lbs and gaining back 40 lbs, but I didn't even make it through the first day. But that's typical me, of course. Please let me know how it goes. I have recently recommitted to cutting the evil carbs and sugars from my life, and have been meeting with a personal trainer 3 days a week for the past few weeks. So far, I may be down 4 lbs ( I use the word 'may' because my weight can fluctuate from the moment I get up, until the last drink of water at night).

I debated having a band over my RNY, but have been encouraged by my surgeons office not to. Of course, they didn't offer any other advice, just told me not to do it. :)

Anyhow, please keep me posted on your 5 days. I am seriously debating taking a week off of work do it, otherwise - if I try it at work, I'll either kill people due to my ravenous hunger, or not stick with it and eat something within 2 minutes of starting.

:)

Best of luck!!

1st off  beautiful baby girl ! you are blessed , i too have gained back 80 lbs after RNY in 2002. I lost track of ME and thought id be ok , but well we all know how that goes !!!
Im trying the best i can to get bot , but am struggling ... im not silly enough to start the 5 day pouch test on a weekend as i know i cant be diciplined enough , ( i have 2 parties to go to and both involve drinks and birthday cake lol ) ,... so Monday is the big 5 day restart ! I have done the 5 days before and was shocked at how great i felt after day 3 !!!
Good luck and let me know how you are doing ! Dont give up , we can DO THIS !!

I would like to start the 5 day pouch test but can't remember exactly what it entails. I had RNY in 2003, went from 300 to 150 and gradually over the years gained back 40 pounds. It sounds like this group is what I need.
